Often enough we believe that an element of "luck" is what gets some of us the lucky breaks while others get left behind in the "me too" category. I have always begged to disagree thanks to my inside view of the careers and decisions made by any number of successful executives. Taking risk at the right time, betting your all on what your gut tells you is going to be the future, willingness to leave your "comfort zone" (location, money) often decides the winners.
